“What the hell am I doing with my life?”

This nagging question, this irrational fear, this itch I can’t scratch, has been a foreboding elephant-sized weight on my shoulders since childhood.

After years of inquiring, meditating, career-counseling, Pinterest-quoting, crying, self-medicating, Netflix binging, and praying, I finally decided to give up. I stopped searching and finally settled for the one thing I have always had a deep love and appreciation for. 

And so, I escape my comfy-cozy, 9-5 office-life whenever I can to pursue my passion for traveling and writing. I decided that instead of dwelling over my decisions…I’m going to write about them instead. 

As a Florida native, I’ve never known anything other than palm trees and sunscreen. Still, traveling and writing allow me to get out of my seashell-shaped box and experience the world around me.
